There is a lot of paperwork involved in transferring a property which can be daunting and a potential financial risk if it isn’t done correctly. If handled poorly, it can be highly stressful, when it should be one of the most exciting times of your life – buying or changing homes.
At Easy Move Conveyancing take care of it all for you, including liaising with your bank over finance, and keeping you informed along the way. We will respond to your email or phone message within 24 hours, but usually the same day.
With the introduction of electronic conveyancing, many law firms now outsource a lot of the work, because they haven’t taken the time to learn it themselves. Easy Move Conveyancing was at the forefront of adopting the electronic PEXA platform, and we control every stage of the process ourselves.
We can handle your conveyancing in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia or Tasmania.
Our cohesive team works across Easy Move and TBA Law.
Conveyancing is the process of moving the legal ownership of property or land from one person or entity to another.
The best time to get help with conveyancing is as soon as you decide to buy or sell real estate and BEFORE you sign anything.
With Easy Move Conveyancing we have a fixed fee price, inclusive of GST and disbursements. The only ‘out of pocket’ expenses are third party expenses, which include government registration fees and charges.
Stamp duty is a State tax payable when you acquire property even if you receive that property as a gift.
This duty is calculated on either the purchase price or market value of the property, whichever is highest.
A conveyancer is someone specialising in property (land) transfers. They prepare the legal documents that form part of real estate transactions such as the purchase and sale of properties, settlements and title transfers.
The simple answer to this question is ‘No’, in most cases you don’t need a lawyer.
With Easy Move Conveyancing you’re in luck – we have experienced property lawyers and expert conveyancers to help you. Our staff are some of the best in the business and are highly sought after; we have partnered with TBA Law.
These are fees charged by land titles offices which vary from state to state. They apply to documents including the transfer, mortgage and discharge of mortgage.
There are no reductions, concessions or exemptions available on land title registration fees.
Settlement is the end of the matter – when the Contract is finished. Settlement is the part where legal possession of land or property is transferred from one owner to another, and payment is provided in exchange.
Generally, settlements take either 30 or 60 days, according to the terms set out in the Contract of Sale.
